Clean Assembly

The Faber-Castle Perfect Pencil is quite an interesting product. When I received the package and opened it, my first reaction was the smell - the smell of wood. I love it. The smell of wood and graphite, the smell of good old pens - takes me so much back to my analog days, from writing and screen time, and you just want to take that smell, the feel of a real pen, and write, draw, express your thoughts. Great first impressions. The lettering and lettering, the "Made in Germany" feeling (I'm a fan of Leica, BMW etc.) - I was so proud of the production when I held the product in my hands. The pack contains a pencil with a cap. , plus 3 extra pins. The pens come sharpened and are mid-length rather than full-length, but if you put the cap back on the back of the pen during use there's a good weight at the top, depending on preference, or you can just like it. The sharpener in the cap works fine and there is a basic eraser at the end of the pencil. The pens themselves, #2B, Graphite, Haptic, Thickness and Font are perfect for general use for anything - writing, sketching, drawing. Overall it also looks and feels quite sleek - definitely something that will stand out even in a non-educational setting like the office. Some might argue that it's just a pencil after all, but I would argue that it's an enjoyable experience for the convenience, quality, looks and brand you get. I'm so sick of ballpoint pens, and it's dangerous to pick ink sticks out of leaks and stains. This will be my new device for office laptops and notes. If I can keep that away from my teenage daughter - who would want that for her!
