I bought this as a gift to replace my broken DVD player. Bought used and saved a lot of money. That works great. The controls are located just below the screen. I love the rotation feature. As well as full rotation, you can fold the screen down and then hold it like a tablet. It was a present for a 5 year old who has no problem with it. This is very convenient when several children (of different ages) do not want to see the same thing. You grab some DVD players, turn on your favorite movie, put on headphones or earbuds, and everyone is happy. It also came in handy for adults during the long power outage during Hurricane Sandy. We loaded them up to a hurricane. At least we had something to look at while waiting for power to be restored. Very happy with this purchase. This is one of the best DVD players I have ever bought.
