First some background information. Our biggest issues with other USB cables we've used in the past are: 1. Cables don't transfer full charging power from charger to device2. Cables lose a good connection at the end of the device3. The cable jackets are torn next to the plugs. We ordered and received these cables (along with a token incentive to write a review) so we can certainly only comment on the first point, but we can make some comments on the second and third points. We have a power meter. for testing USB chargers and cables. To test these cables, we used the phone, charger, and cable that came with the phone. The first and last pictures show that the OEM cable is delivering about 2 amps (2000mA) to the phone as expected from a 2 amp charger. The current dropped off a bit over time, but that's a feature of the charger and phone and typical behavior. We don't have a 3A charger so couldn't test 3A, but 2A is way better than many of the cables we have in our collection. and finally a 3 meter cable. All five performed the same as the OEM cable. As for our second and third issue with cables in general, they hold up well when plugged in at both ends (yes, on the charger side, the springs are in the charger, not the cable). The braid also feels strong and flexible, so we expect these cables to last a long time. If our experience differs from our expectations we will definitely update this review but for now we are very happy with our purchase. . Hope this helps someone else looking for USB-C cables.
