This is a great beginners wool felting kit! I dabbled in felting when I was younger and recently decided to give it another go. I remember that I used to break needles left and right, so I wanted a kit that had multiple. So far none of the needles have broken, so that's good!At first I was surprised at the small sizes of the bags that hold the wool. It didn't look like there was very much there, but upon taking the wool out, I am pleasantly surprised at how much was able to fit in each bag! It still gets used up quickly, but there's at least a decent variety of colors. I've been making felted portraits of cats, so I'm enjoying that the colors are more natural.The kit also comes with two finger covers, and a needle holder. The finger covers are nice to have, but I found them too awkward to use while felting, so I leave them off and try to just be extra careful. The needle holder is nice, and works well, though you do need to make sure you press hard when putting the needle into it or it will come loose and fall out.Overall, I think this is a great set for beginners, those who break needles a lot, or even those who are just interested in trying a new hobby without breaking the bank.
