Stant thermostats have always been the standard in the automotive industry and Stant has made this Tstat easy to install. The gasket is already on it so you don't have to fiddle around installing the paper gasket or smearing the sealant onto the case. This is for the 3.4 Chevrolet V6 engine and is quite difficult to work with. Installing this Tstat with the rubber grommet installed on it is a little easier than trying to leave a separate grommet gasket in place.
