I bought this belt because he said it can be worn on the hips and fits up to 47 inches (in her dreams). All belts, buckles, and elastics at full stretch in the 35" range require 12" or more of stretch to fit up to 47". Come on people! Some of us are not tiny and don't want to be cut in half by a rubber band while running! Otherwise the strap is very well made, stays in place (albeit with that kind of compression) and is really cute. Love the strap and will be swapping out the elastic strap for a longer elastic strap for more comfort while running. Edit: phone pocket Super! Easy access and you can easily use your touchscreen while driving. The bag is also very good, a good size with plenty of room for things you might need while running. Water bottles are easy to remove and replace and will not leak. As for the elastic, I was able to undo the stitching, remove the adjustable pieces, and sew the elastic back onto the buckles to add a few inches more. The strap still stays in place and is quite comfortable, although currently not adjustable.
