If you're buying glycerine shaving soap that comes in a box, get this one. I put my block in a bowl and let it sit in near boiling water for about 5 minutes to melt the block in the bowl. I let it cool for a few hours and then it was good to go. It works well and looks phenomenal sitting next to my chrome razor stand holding safety razors and a badger brush. I would recommend this if you want to give your bathroom a professional look!
