Selling points for us were the size of the heater (it was installed just below the existing towel rail to dry towels hanging on that existing towel rail) and the controller with off timer functions, 2 or 4 hours. I have not seen any other heated towel rails with such a control function. I didn't want it running all day if we forgot to turn it off. A continuous feature is available, but I doubt we'll ever use it. 2 or 4 hours is enough to dry our towels after a morning shower. The 40W heating elements are sufficient for normal use and consume little energy thanks to the timer function. My only other thought is I wish it was made in Canada (or the US) and not by that Canadian company using a Chinese manufacturer.
