My 94 year old mother has been living with us for over a year. She fell several times, fortunately she was not injured, but she cannot get up on her own. I must have been a light sleeper in case she went to the toilet and fell in the middle of the night. She now has a call button on her walker, one in the bathroom and one by the bed. We have handsets in the living room and in our bedroom so if she needs help all she has to do is press the call button. The volume of the receiver can be adjusted according to the need of the person to wake up. Now I can sleep knowing that if something happens she will easily let us know. Great product if you are caring for an elderly parent. I don't know the battery life yet, but the batteries can be replaced. Good product! It's worth the small cost.
