This is one of the newest additions to my ever growing pillow collection and I love it. I have chronic neck and back pain due to many issues. with intervertebral discs in the neck and thoracic spine. I never manage to be completely "well," so pain relief is key. I've found contour pillows to be the best choice for a good night's sleep, but I need them to be firm. This. It's not rock solid but definitely provides all night support. You'll never sag in the foam because it's so dense. Ideal for maintaining the same posture, which is very important to me because very few postures result in full sleep and limited pain. Please note that I will end up tossing and turning unless I do something to stop it. , and when I move in my sleep, the entire point of the contour flies out the window. Waking up on your stomach is an instant sign that I have a painful day ahead! So what works for me is tucking the sheets under the body on one side. This is the side with the edge of the bed. Simply lift the top sheet (or even two, even better) and tuck it under your back and buttocks. 99% of the time I wake up in the exact same position, with those sheets still tucked tightly under my body, taking full advantage of the pillow's contour. I am a very good sleeper so I would like to mention this pillow. I'm not hot or unwell. Of course, most don't notice, or I don't, but this one was no different than my other foam pillows. Also, the case it comes in is very soft and the chemical smell goes away after a few days - there is no lingering smell in our room. The price seems right, around $50-$70 for a pillow like this. It's a little longer than a standard pillow, so keep that in mind. Something between a queen and a standard size. But for me this is an incredibly useful pillow and now my pain free wife wants one for herself. She also loves to sleep on it.
