Delivery was a little slow (11 days), but ok, I expected that. What I didn't expect was a piece of junk, damaged on arrival, with poorly designed assembly. I'm a former contractor (and also a decent auto mechanic), so it's not a lack of skill.The thing had parts banging around in the box, resulting in scrapes and scratches on the leg pieces (and it will take me a week to get rid of all the little pieces of white foam). It also had scrapes and scratches on the top, not huge but definitely noticeable. Part of the frame on the underside of the top was pretty badly bent (this was NOT caused in shipping, as the wood piece next to it in the package was straight and undamaged). The fasteners are not really right for this, the heads tend to work their way into the oversize holes, weakening the structure (providing washers would help). When assembled, pieces don't necessarily line up (there is no leeway, they go where the fasteners take them). After assembly, I waited a day and checked, and all the upper fasteners needed re-tightening (presumably because they bent or worked their way into the holes). Entire thing is a bit wobbly, don't expect to get amorous with a partner on it, you'll both end up on the floor (just start out there in the first place, it's safer :) ).I would send it back, but of course something like this is a huge pain to return, and I don't have time to order something else, I need a desk. It's more or less functional when assembled, and to the average eye will look ok on entry into a room. Sadly, this is probably the kind of quality one can expect in this day and age.
