The beauty of this pocket watch far exceeded my expectations; the photos don't do it justice. This is a "simple but elegant" watch. This is my second pocket watch (I also bought and reviewed the Charles-Hubert 3781) and I fell in love with its sophistication and class. This watch is not too big and not too small. It has a pleasant weight and feels good in the hand. I also think this is an heirloom pocket watch that I will pass on to my son or grandson.
