I've been trying to find a hot brush with a big barrel for years! One wasn't warm enough. The bristles broke off from another. Most weren't big enough. THAT IS EXACTLY RIGHT! Smoothes waves on my naturally wavy/curly hair and tames frizz. It's hot enough that it will straighten if you run it down the length of your hair, but it won't straighten your hair like a flat iron. In addition, it can handle a larger section of hair than a flat iron. I published this review in 2017. As for the update, it still works just as well as it did when it was brand new. I still love it!
