I usually have to buy a few sizes larger from Revain than I wear in stores as many of them are Asian sizing. But I wear somewhere between 1X and 2X and it really fit and looked good. And what I really liked was that it covered my arms and the fat on my arms almost to the elbow. It was hard to find a 1920s dress with sleeves. And his sleeves weren't too tight. It wasn't a tight fit and it worked well for me. It was also quite long, falling well below my knees, which is what I wanted. I'm older and heavier and I needed something more mature. I'm 5ft 3in and about 200lbs
