I bought these water shoes to walk on the beach and water in Florida while on vacation. The beach we went to had a lot of shells in the water and I didn't want to cut my feet. For that purpose they were excellent. However, when water flooded the shoes, they filled with sand, making walking uncomfortable. Even when wet, it is difficult to take off. I liked the wide toe bed and they have instep clips to adjust the fit a bit. I would give them 5 stars if the net was tighter so the sand doesn't fall in.
