When I first bought this little 1st generation radio, it had poor and noisy AM and SW reception, also FM had poor sensitivity and long waves, not too good . I have now bought this one, they have made some great improvements and the VHF band works better than the 1st gen receiver. In addition, the shortwave radio reception is more stable than the 1st generation receiver. Both the AM band and the LW band need to improve sensitivity, and a tunable loop antenna needs to be used to receive distant and semi-local stations. Sometimes it connects distant stations without the need to use a loop antenna, depending on the conditions. . No noisy images like the 1st generation. one. So for now this radio is working very well and I can enjoy FM AM SW reception. It has a clock, you can also set your favorite reminders, and it can automatically find and preset FM station presets by clicking on them. The sleep timer goes from 90 minutes to special settings. I would recommend this radio to anyone who is on a very limited budget or needs to do something to keep in touch with the world.
