The fabric is soft and slightly stretchy, making it easy to wrap and comfortable to wear in any position, even when the fabric is layered. He doesn't tie his hair in knots. I sleep in them because they are so comfortable and because I don't know how to wrap them in fashion wraps like in the photo. I tie a simple tie/knot in the back and then straighten the loose ends on either side and tuck them under the fabric. Mine sometimes come off at night but that may be user error as I'm making a simple cape. The fabric is long enough to wrap around the head twice and also wide enough to cover hair including a bun or braids/braids. The fabric is thin but I haven't had any problems with hanging hair or loose threads and have been wearing them daily for several months. I wash and dry them with regular linen. The colors are just as vibrant. The overall look is simple/casual, but black can work in any setting.
