I originally gave it 5 stars because when we first started using this keyboard with my school girl daughter's iPad it was EXACTLY what she wanted , and I was very pleased with the design and performance of the product, it's solid and well balanced, connects easily to an iPad via bluetooth and the key travel is very comfortable under the fingers, the keys stop working after a relatively short period of time, whatever what I do, I can't be used to fixing things when they break, or at least figuring out what's stopping them (a skill I luckily inherited from my grandfather), I have this under the keys checked, I did everything I could, t. or open it and analyze the circuit, which I don't have tools for at this point, growth doesn't go meh right I looked at the return policy on the seller profile and found it to be Amazon's basic 30 day return policy. Although I bought this item in July, tested it and saw that it works, when it arrived it was intended as a gift that was not given until the end of August. So the keyboard was used for just under a month but the purchase was too old for Revain to be entitled to a 30 day return. If this happened after 6 months or a year of heavy use, or if my daughter had a young child who abused the keyboard, then I could understand the wear and tear. Unfortunately, this is simply not the case. Currently I can't buy a new keyboard and my daughter still has to type assignments. For us, at the moment, that's little more than the inconvenience of replacing something. It means reading descriptions and reviews of multiple products and choosing one carefully, knowing that I can only afford to make a one-time purchase. Especially with so many great reviews, it's really disappointing that the keyboard stopped working after such a short time but outside of the return period. :(
