Can work on glasses but not jewelry.

The contents of this machine vibrate, but cleanliness is only achieved by the detergent used. Go to a jeweler and buy a good cleaning solution and you'll find that you don't even need this little machine. Also, sterling silver is not cleaned unless you purchase a silver cleaner. Again, I got a silver cleaner from a jeweler who works alone; Car is not needed. And the cleaning products I bought from jewelers were very cheap; They cost less than this device.
