Works. sometimes. for my opinion

With the shiny chrome hands, depending on how light hits them, it can be difficult to read. It also stops for no reason. You have to smack it or remove the battery and put it back in and it will work again for a day, a few hours, but eventually it it will stop and you're back to messing with the battery. Replaced twice, same issue. Switched to digital clock- no issues.

Pros

Works as described, accurate and repeatable, could be louder.

Cons

The non-ticking feature of this alarm clock may not be ideal for heavy sleepers who require a louder alarm to wake up
