was slowly losing the leather rings on the handle. She used foam rubber and tape to attach it and we still use a hammer today. (He does a really good job). I love how it's made in the USA and recently bought a 160z leather handled hammer and this 22oz hammer. Estwing is a large American company. They stand behind their products.
