So I was looking for a second docking station for my Switch so I could play on the TV in the room or play on this TV in the family room. I didn't think it came with a USB-C cable so I went and bought one and the one I bought didn't even work with this dock. I look back inside the package when I first took out the brick and there is a USB-C cable included, plug it in and it works! All you need is HDMI from your TV to the docking box and then USB from the box to the bottom of the switcher, switch to the correct source for HDMI on your TV and you're in business. A great cheap alternative to turn on the screen without paying another $100 for an additional docking system. Completely satisfied with my purchase.
