I would like to give a higher rating. However, I am having trouble with items plugged into cigarette lighter adapters shorting out or not staying on. With the one I have, I have to constantly plug/plug the adapter into an outlet, whatever plugged into outlets, which I don't like doing while driving. I bought another brand in 2018 that doesn't have separate on/off switches but is better in every way for keeping the tension. The older one is in my old Jeep Wrangler and I don't want to take it off to put it in my new car - duct tape is like epoxy! Definitely look for something else unless you want to constantly fiddle with it to keep it powered.
