I rarely write reviews but this protein powder satisfies all my pumpkin spice cravings. First I did a little research for you. What they all have in common is that most pumpkin spice protein powders taste more like vanilla or vanilla tea than pumpkin. Second, this is not one of those pumpkin spice protein powders. When I drink it I get this subtle (but very noticeable) taste of pumpkin. I love adding pumpkin spice to my vanilla protein shakes, but there's no need here, the warm flavors of nutmeg and cinnamon come through. You can even see the spices in the drink. Third, this protein powder mixes really well. I usually mix it with vanilla almond milk and it just melts away. I use a protein shaker so I spend a few minutes shaking. It's not as smooth as a pumpkin latte, but a lot less grainy than most I've tried. Finally, I am lactose intolerant. I rarely, if ever, buy whey based protein powders, I usually buy plant based protein powders. Today I ate two servings and I can proudly say that my stomach is fine! No bloating! Hope that helps! If you're hesitant, take this as a sign to just give it a try, especially if like me you love Pumpkin Spice Lattes but don't like all the calories that come with them.
