Weird flavor, but solid macros.

I’ve been experimenting with different vegan protein powders to help with a slight dairy intolerance, and this one was a bit weird. I mostly use protein powder for protein oats, and this one results in a very thick, paste-like consistency when mixed with oats. The regular PEScience whey-casein blend protein doesn’t do that, but it’s understandable since it’s a completely different protein source.I ordered the peanut butter delight flavor of this vegan protein, and it’s just. not quite good…

Pros
  • This protein powder tastes really good. I think the vanilla one tastes better than the chocolate.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other vegan protein powders on the market

Sweetened with Stevia doesnt have fiber

I tried this product because i was looking for a protein supplement that didnt have a bunch of junk in it. I was pointed in this direction by a friend. I have used other protein supplements and they help me feel fuller longer and keep my cravings at bay. However after using this product for a week or so i was having those uncontrollable days where i could not satisfy the hunger no matter what i ate. I started looking at the newest things that i had added and unfortunately this product was in…

Pros
  • Cinnamon is known to help regulate blood sugar levels, making this a diabetic-friendly option
Cons
  • May not be as filling as animal-based protein powders

Do recommend trying!

I enjoy this flavor, but I do notice it leaves an aftertaste. It's not necessarily bad, just sort of artificial tasting. This brand is good for blending into a smoothie, shake, or using for baking. One of the best vegan friendly protein powders I've tried. Will purchase again.

Pros
  • Sports Nutrition
Cons
  • May not be as satiating as animal-based protein powders

Just don’t - my new review

I love the regular prescience protein powder and it was the only company I found that didn’t make me gag, but whey causes my stomach to bloat and feel uncomfortable so I wanted to try their vegan option. I saw a different review that said the cinnamon one was the best bet so I ordered it. This was absolutely revolting. I tried it in milk and mixed into yogurt, and I just could not. It’s like a gritty pea taste everything about it is so nasty. Taste, texture, just no. Shame cuz I absolutely love

Pros
  • Provides a good source of iron, calcium, and other essential minerals
Cons
  • May not provide as much protein per calorie as other protein sources

Vanilla Vegan Protein PES

Overall, pretty decent but the flavor just isn’t quite there yet. You can definitely notice the after taste of plant protein. It’s not awful and I will finish the bag but probably not the best for using as a main flavor in overnight oats or just drinking plain. Wanted to try the vegan options since i’ve had the cake pop and oatmeal proteins before. Will say this is a 6/10 comparatively.

Pros
  • ENTER THE NEW GENERATION OF VEGAN PROTEIN - Select uses an optimized, highly specific flavoring system to create a superior taste and texture compared to other plant based proteins. All without adding sugar, artificial junk, or excess carbs/calories.
Cons
  • May not taste as good as other cinnamon-flavored protein powders on the market

Like Chocolate, Vanilla Better

I've been using the vanilla flavor for a while but wanted to branch out to the chocolate. It's really good, but I still like the vanilla more and find it more versatile. However this would be great in a milkshake or iced coffee blend and similar things. I haven't tried any other forms of vegan protein powder, this is the first brand I've ever used but I like it. There's no weird texture like I've heard people complain about with other kinds of vegan protein, and the flavor is great. I found…

Pros
  • Sweetened with Stevia, no artificial sweeteners or flavors!
Cons
  • Serving size is smaller than other protein powders on the market

Good but not a standout

This was my first time trying a vegan protein, I liked that the harsh flavor I'm used to with other brands wasn't there. Yes it's a little grainy but it mixes well with almond milk and tasted pretty good. I'm not sure it's helped me with any gains though, my body seemed to respond better to my previous whey protein. Not sure what to think of it but I'd still recommend.

Pros
  • Perfect for athletes and fitness enthusiasts looking to build muscle and increase endurance
Cons
  • May not taste as good as other protein powders on the market

One of the best tasting plant protein powders

I love this protein powder. I cannot drink whey protein due to it giving me acne, and I've tried quite a bit of plant protein powders. This one is one of the best. I just wish it was a little cheaper.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Contains less protein per serving than some other plant-based protein powders

Great Ingredients but consistency is a bit sandy

I am all about healthy vegan protein powders with good ingredients. I appreciate the fact that this protein powder has very few ingredients and good quality. However the consistency is a bit sandy. I am sure you can get used top it but just putting it out there. My body has no issues digesting this protein powder. Way easier on my stomach than whey protein! So I would 100% make the compromise of consistency for better digestion :)

Pros
  • Combines the best of both worlds - the benefits of pea and brown rice protein in one delicious blend
Cons
  • May contain soy lecithin, which some individuals are allergic to

Chalky but pretty A-Okay!

Wanted to try a vegan protein to help my acne. Still not acne free, but the protein is pretty good. As most vegan protein powders, it’s gritty and the taste is almost chalky undertones.it’s not awful but it is an acquired taste especially if you are accustomed to the hyper sweet and smooth PESCIENCE whey/casein blends. It doesn’t mix up as well as that brand because it doesn’t have the same binding agents to give it a creamy consistency. I like it for oats and yogurt as the earthy taste is a…

Pros
  • Certified Kosher and Halal, suitable for people following these dietary restrictions
Cons
  • May not be as easily accessible as other protein powders on the market

Excellent product. - my new review

The flavor of this powder is outstanding. I love the chocolate flavor my wife loves the peanut butter one. You get a combination of, I think, 4-6 plant proteins to give you complete amino acid. 20 grams of protein per scoop. Faster shipping than the website if you have prime (2 Day shipping is $18 on PesScience’s website). The product itself was a few dollars cheaper on amazon. So you get the product itself cheaper and free 2 day shipping and it’s probably one of the best Vegan protein powder…

Pros
  • Helps promote healthy muscle recovery post-workout
Cons
  • May be too thick or chalky when mixed with water or liquid

My sensitive stomach loves this!

I have the worst GI issues and cannot tolerate whey or soy protein. I still need to hit my macros and this gets me there! I have tried a million vegan proteins but this is the one I like the best. I mix it with unsweetened almond or coconut milk and it's great! I have also added it to oatmeal cookie recipes. If you have a hard time digesting protein powders, I highly suggest you try this!

Pros
  • Sustainably sourced ingredients to minimize environmental impact
Cons
  • May not contain enough BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) compared to other protein powders

Best Vegan Protein Powder!

I’ve been on a looong search for a good vegan protein powder and I think this is it! Is the smoothest and yummiest so far also very fine powder that is easy to mix. If you’ve tried the regular prescience snickerdoodle then the vegan one comes really close to it.Perfect to drink with just almond milk or incorporate into fruit smoothies. If you have a sweet tooth you’ll lobe the snickerdoodle flavor. This may be a bit pricey but is worth it

Pros
  • Convenient and easy to use, just mix with water, milk or your favorite beverage
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with kidney or liver disease

Not the best flavor of plant based protein

It has the cleanest ingredients-it just has a strange after taste and I’m not sensitive to those things usually. It’s a great low carb option.

Pros
  • Manufactured in a GMP-compliant facility to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety
Cons
  • May cause constipation in some individuals

Love this brand but disappointing flavor

I’ve been trying various flavors from this brand and was excited to try this plant based option. I love this brand because it makes really thick smoothies. Unfortunately this plant based vanilla has a very distinct medicinal flavor. Even a half scoop in a big smoothie is noticeable and unpleasant. I’ll be sticking to their other flavors and avoid this one in the future.

Pros
  • Safe and effective for adults of all ages and backgrounds
Cons
  • May contain phytoestrogens that can impact hormone balance in some individuals

Favorite protein powder

This is by far the most amazing protein powder I've ever tried. My body doesn't react to dairy very well and every vegan protein tastes horrible or doesn't have a lot of protein. I love the chocolate one, it tastes really good and the consistency is really nice too. I don't fill up my whole shaker with water because it is too watery for my taste. I fill it a little bit more than half of the shaker and it's perfect.

Pros
  • Formulated with all-natural ingredients for a healthy and wholesome option
Cons
  • May contain artificial colors, which some individuals may want to avoid

5 star protein, 3 star taste, but no gas!

The taste and texture of the vanilla and chocolate are fine, not wonderful. But on the digestive front, for me, it's great. It's the first protein powder I've used that doesn't have me horribly gassy all day (this and rx bars). I work in an office setting so that's a no go, not to mention the discomfort. I do belch a few times after drinking it in the morning but that dissipates quickly. I like that it only has a few ingredients, simplicity is good. So for all the pros, I'll live with the…

Pros
  • Third party tested for label accuracy | No cheap fillers or adulterants | MADE IN USA
Cons
  • Contains carrageenan, which some studies suggest may have negative health effects

Whey who?: my feedback

This is SO GOOD! I am an avid whey protein user. I use whey every single day if not more. I have used PEScience whey protein before and loved it. But lately I feel that the whey isnt sitting so well with my stomache so I decided to try the vegan version. I have never tried vegan protein before but I read that most people felt it tasted very earthy or like straight dirt, and was very gritty. This is NOT any of those! It's delicious, sweet, and mixes well. I can also cook and bake with it just…

Pros
  • Chiropractors Buying Group
Cons
  • Contains artificial sweeteners, which may not be suitable for some individuals

Solid choice!: my feedback

This is a solid protein if you want something out of the normal vanilla and chocolate.Mixes well, has a pretty simple ingredient list, and digests well.It wouldn’t make a good choice as a base for smoothies but on its own with some plant milk it is one of the best I’ve tasted.

Pros
  • Rich, delicious cinnamon flavor that's perfect for smoothies or baked goods
Cons
  • May cause gas in some individuals due to high fiber content

Good Taste & Texture

I wasn't a huge fan of this protein at first but it definitely grew on me. I was initially disappointed because there wasn't enough of a true peanut butter flavor however if you mix it with a bit of peanut butter powder, it really brings out the nice PB flavor. The stevia is not overpowering at all. I also like the texture of this protein powder, the macros, and the clean ingredients. I use this product to make a low carb protein ice cream and it works quite well. I will definitely be…
