I've only had it a few days so I'm hoping it will last as long as my other bulb

Had to replace my old bulb but it lasted so long I forgot how many watts I bought before. Also, I didn't know anything about a larger (Mughal) base. I first went to two hardware stores but they only had the mogul bulb. Then I found and bought this (medium sized bulb) although I was concerned that 100w wouldn't be bright enough. NOT CORRECT. It's VERY bright. I have it above my garage and it lights up my driveway as well as my neighbors. And one more thing. I've only had it for a few days so I'm hoping it will last as long as my other bulb. But so far so good.
