This lamp fits well in a 25 year old outdoor lamp. These bulbs do not burn out, but the light emitted is less and less and the fading is almost unnoticeable over the years. The base size is different from ordinary household lamps, and you need to understand what "Tycoon base" and "H38" are. Thirty-eight, I think it's millimeters.

Bought three - first burned out after 2 months, other 2 not lit - junk - avoid. They were purchased to be used in a colonial post top light fixture - similar to those used by residential utility companies. Ideal lamp replacement for your safety lighting in the driveway. I looked around for a lightbulb but couldn't find it. I found others that looked like they would work, but they weren't MERCURY VAPOR and didn't work. When I installed this bulb, it lit up as expected.
