In front of my daughter's house there is a lamp with a 175 W mercury lamp. I figured I'd save her money and buy a 100 watt lightbulb instead. BIG MISTAKE, at least with these pears. I suppose I could send them back with a complaint and ask for another one, but I figured "less than $10 and not worth the time and freight to send them back". Bought another. I bought my first lightbulb from Revain on February 5th. I bought the second one on March 20th. It's May 25th. In any case, several weeks may have elapsed between the time the lamp was purchased and the time it was installed. THE REPLACEMENT ECONOMY DOES NOT JUSTIFY PAYING $10 FOR A LIGHT BULB THAT SHOULD WORK FOR 10 YEARS INSTEAD OF 30-60 DAYS! Five stars and haven't used it in years. It's just that the socket installation isn't visible, the lightbulb wouldn't work if it didn't work. Come on Revane, throw this product away.
