This product definitely outperforms the standard plastic screen protector. However, nobody tells you that it is "easy to put on". It takes a long time to prepare the surface of your laptop to be spotless and then it is very difficult to match the glass to the screen. Do what you ever had to practice. You only have one shot. This is when you want the protective film to be invisible. And it's entirely possible.
