I read it all the negative comments on this product and I just want to say stop whining! This product is one of the best over-the-counter (OTC) retinol products! Yes, it stings, burns, flakes - but that's the essence, regeneration of skin cells, stopping the breakdown of skin collagen after sun exposure, improving the top layer of the epidermis and improving the appearance of sagging skin. . Yes, ugly, loose skin — you'll get it sometime in your 50s and 60s. In any case, get rid of peeling, redness & Co. - that's how it works! My secret is to wait a bit after applying (about half an hour) and then apply CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. Make sure it's a formula that doesn't contain retinol, but one that does contain hyaluronic acid. Apply as often as you like, it doesn't hurt. Either way, this minimizes the lack of retinol and allows your epidermis to do what it needs to do when you're using a retinol product. I'll be 59 in January - no crow's feet, minimal wrinkles. And always moisturize your skin before bed :-)
