Doesn't have a continuous focus range and video lags behind normal

I really wanted to like this camera. We broadcast our services and use different cameras (Logitech 920, Sony Handycam, Canon Vixia etc.). We needed a fixed zoom camera for closer shots of the speaker. It took me some time to arrange all of this. Focus varies by zoom setting (often with two clear focus points that were difficult to find), and at some zoom settings the device may not focus at all. So the setup was a bit cumbersome. But we finally have a satisfactory zoom setting with sharp focus. We use OBS as our streaming software. We found the audio wasn't even remotely in sync alongside other cameras. Others required an offset of 350ms, and this was closer to 800ms. That big difference didn't work for us (it's hard to see the half-second delay between audio and video). So I sent the block back. If you only have one camera or multiple such cameras for your streaming setup, this might work, but if you have multiple cameras and they process video at different rates, it probably won't work for streaming. It may be suitable for industrial applications. It looks well built for its price and is very compact for an adjustable zoom.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Some difficulties
