This durable case is ideal for travel. The whole body is extremely rigid and cannot be easily crushed. The outer dimensions of the case are 7 inches high and 2-5/8 inches in diameter. The internal dimensions of the case are 6-3/4" tall and 2-1/8" in diameter. (I bought a 6-3/4" tall brow brush and it barely fits in the case.) The unassembled top and bottom of the case are the same size and can conveniently be used as a brush holder. When closed, the top - and bottom of the case held together by two strong latches at the ends of two pull tabs.The brushes included in the case are well made, with nice soft bristles that don't fall off in 24 hours.I used my own blush brush (with a 1/2 "" handle), added an extra eyeshadow brush and the aforementioned brow brush. They all fit perfectly in the case leaving room for another brush or two. I bought this case and brushes to make a handy makeup kit. Having brushes handy I am not disappointed.
