To be honest, one of those $40 FULL KIT irons had more efficiency than this one. Not only does it not have an adequate power supply (ie you have to buy it yourself) but the iron itself that they give you doesn't even fit, it won't stay full at any point and you won't get anything you can do about it. The tip isn't even properly oxidized yet and won't even be able to solder anything. I even tried cleaning it etc and it doesn't work no matter what I did. I am convinced that the tip they gave is bullshit and they are probably using it as a scam to get you to buy more of their terrible products. The product arbitrarily decided I was done, it would just go back to zero and the only way to get it back to its original state was a hard reset (complete disconnect and reconnect). It looks good cosmetically, but it's actually a junk product not worth the time and money.
