I got this Bought for a fridge as we have frequent power outages which can only last a moment. For this device, in case of loss, low or high overvoltage, it will turn off the power for 5 minutes before turning it on again. This can relieve the refrigerator compressor from unnecessary stress and extend its life. However, it is good for any electronic device and also prevents low or high voltage surges.
