I was originally looking for a square ottoman with storage for my new sofa but they all seemed too chunky. This one Stool is ideal as it is open on the sides yet still offers storage space.Shelf is ideal for storing blankets, books, board games etc. Given the reasonable price I was concerned that the faux leather would feel cheap and plasticky, fortunately my fears were totally unfounded.The faux leather is a lovely rich dark brown color with a convincing leathery texture.The studs along the edge give it a very elegant look and make the whole piece appear much more expensive than it actually is.The only downside that I... What comes to mind is the quality of the wood shelving It looks good and feels solid enough, but it's definitely not the kind of solid wood you'd expect on a high-end furniture would find evil. The assembly was very easy and uncomplicated. They recommend two people, but I was able to assemble it myself in under twenty minutes. All parts fit well and firmly together, the whole part looks very solid and does not wobble at all. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. The looks and quality far exceeded my expectations and I think it's excellent value for money. Anyone who has seen this work thinks that it cost a lot more than it actually was.
