I've tested a few portable bluetooth speakers and this speaker is the smallest I've seen. As a rule, the sound quality of a speaker is equal to the size of the speaker, all other things being equal. There is no getting around it: the bigger the speaker, the bigger the speaker, the louder – and therefore less tinny – and the higher the sound quality. This speaker has far exceeded my expectations for something so small. Not only does it sound good for its size, it sounds good, period. Sure, it doesn't sound as good as my mid-range desktop speaker, but if you want something compact enough to still sound good, then this is for you. I have trusted them through positive experiences with their products in the past and am glad I did. This Bluetooth speaker from Verbatim is a winner.
