woman. 5'4" 140 lbs. I read a lot of reviews on these shorts and found that they run really small. I usually take medium so I ordered large. Too small. Otherwise the quality is very good, the fabric dries quickly , I like that they have a lining, pockets etc. I've seen negative reviews about velcro and drawstrings but didn't find any problems with them except not being able to close shorts because they are too small.
