taken on vacation. I prefer glass when brewing tea or even flavored water. I've used this to add freshly grated ginger, lemon zest, and crushed basil to filtered water that I drink daily. I typically freeze flavors in ice cube trays with some water and strain them into a pitcher with a filter spout. I figured this would work well on a trip when I didn't want to take a large glass jug with me. Unfortunately, water gushes out of the spout openings forever. Considering I usually use a glass jug with a filter spout that clogs almost instantly but still pours, it's important to say it's a lot slower and I just won't be messing with it anymore. It filters the ginger well in the filter basket, but the painfully slow pouring is a deal breaker for me.
