It took some time to write the colors and numbers on the reels. Mine came with a tiny tag on top. My coils also looked different than the photos. The labels don't stick, but the marker works great. A slit was then cut in the bottom of the base of the spool with a utility knife to secure the ends of the thread, although it just took longer. Quite a few (maybe 8-10) of the spools had the wrong label. These spools pictured may fit snugly on a wooden stand, but my spools are significantly larger. The base of my coils is just over 1.75 inches, while the pins on my wooden post are exactly 1 5/8 inches apart. Well, having said all that, this theme is just AWESOME! The price and quality of this thread COMPLETELY outweigh any other issues. I literally paid 1000% more (yes, 1000%) for "quality" thread downtown. There are no breaks with this thread, and I immediately noticed that the quality of the shine has also increased. The first 61 colors are simpler, although they make about 6 or 8 shades of green. If you think you'll never need 11 shades of blue, you might need 60 colors instead of 100. Although I'd look elsewhere for some of the last 39 colors (like Dark Teal). Thank you theme
