LGTBQ+ or just a rainbow if you prefer. Large Umbrella

I bought this umbrella for my daughter who identifies with and supports LGTBQ+ people. She really wanted a rainbow umbrella. It does not fold compactly. It's nearly five feet tall and isn't collapsing. However, it has at least twice as many umbrella poles as any other I've been able to examine. I have found other rainbow umbrellas at a lower price but they were clearly not as well made. We get strong gusts of wind here in the Portland area and I wanted something that could withstand that as well. That leaves no room for her friends to walk next to her umbrella on the regular sidewalk, but they can stand with her underneath and walk comfortably together. It's wide enough to comfortably cover two people, three if they're not moving quickly or at all and are standing very close together. She had no problem with the umbrella trying to fly up or turning over in the gusts of wind, as is always the case with collapsing umbrellas. On my recommendation, she went a step further by applying a water-repellent shoe polish to the top of the visor fabric to ensure it stayed doubly dry. We also have short periods of heavy rainfall when the roads are temporarily flooded. Atypical rains so an extra layer of protection would be helpful. I would definitely recommend this umbrella in this or any other shade you prefer. It is very well made and can also be used as a defensive weapon in a pinch. Unlike most umbrellas today, this one curves straight down, ending at the waist rather than ending at a decreasing angle, causing slanting raindrops to fall on you like you don't have an umbrella at all. As I said, this is a well made umbrella.
