I tried Magic Erasers a few years ago and wasn't impressed. They fell apart quickly and were expensive. The other day I was trying to clean the light next to my stove and despite the hood there was a greasy film on the light. Nothing removed it and then I remembered I had an old magic eraser under the sink so I took it out and it got rid of the grease in one go. Then I found out that there are several of these products on the market at a much lower price. Oh My Clean sponges are thick and durable. When they arrived I played with them a little. Tea stains on the cup and in the sink: gone! Even "The Bartender's Friend" could not cope with such a task. Soap foam in the shower: not bad. My white-soled flip-flops: great job removing dirt, although the sponge crumbled, the only thing they seemed to crumble on. Brushed Stainless Steel Sink: Clean and shiny, no rinsing or rinsing with abrasives like bartenders. So I'm happy and excited that the cleaning is done without any chemicals. One of the most annoying things in modern life is the amazing proliferation of synthetic chemicals in everyday objects. Most of them have never been fully tested for toxicity and nobody knows what happens when they are combined. So when I'm looking for cleaning products, I try to avoid fragrance (unregulated chemicals) and pay extra for more "natural" ingredients. However, they do not always do their job optimally.
