Review on Doppins by Darryel Tokarczyk

Excellent tool especially good during onboarding

I like that it's very easy to use, you can also easily add new versions of your software without having problems with dependency conflicts or other issues in development environments where different packages are used for each environment (dev/prod). It is not compatible with all build tools out there so if you're using one which isn't supported by doppel then this could be an issue but we haven't run into any yet because they've been pretty quick at getting their builds working. You should give them some time as things might take longer than expected depending what package manager(s) people have installed locally. We had several instances when our CI pipeline was broken due to outdated local version managers causing conflict between dependent libraries from npm and yarn installations. This allowed us to quickly identify errors early while still being able to fix those before pushing changes live again - no need to wait until after deployment! It is easy to add new dependencies and track them in our application, plus it is free! I dislike that you have to manually update your own dependencies when using doppins. You have to go into your project's settings for each dependency you are using and manually push to their repository. This is not ideal. Otherwise I love this service. It makes adding new dependencies a breeze! Plus, it keeps everything in one place.

Pros
  • The interface itself looks professional compared others such GitHub Pages; however
Cons
  • Having too many steps required just seems inconvenient.
  • No automatic updates available once something has recently changed upstream
  • Not user friendly
