We purchased this item because we needed toothpaste for my daughter's new automatic toothbrush. There are two in the package, which is good. But the pump is too difficult for small children with tiny hands and weak fingers to use. The scent is also advertised as orange, but my daughter complained that it was too strong for her. I would not recommend this toothpaste for young children.
