It is in exFAT format when first used. It makes sense to set exFAT by default since the manufacturer promises great features for Windows, Mac and Android. This SSD comes with two cables, Type C to USB A (most common) and Type C to Type C. I tested both cables to see if there is a difference in speed. The result is excellent, the two cables are exactly the same, the speed is not reduced. The case is metal, I think they try to make it durable and with better heat dissipation. There is a blue light showing its status, blinking when copying and off when I remove it from Windows. In general, fast and compact, I'm satisfied.
