This article turned out to be tricky. I bought 2X first because I didn't want them to be too tight. They were VERY big and very big in the waist - I would never wear them. So I sent them back because I also ordered XL for my daughter so I figured if they were too big for her they would probably fit me. They arrived FOREVER - I don't know why, I was kept informed and the price was so high I just waited. Finally they arrived thinking I would give them to my daughter, I tried them on and they fit me perfectly. I also liked that they were a little longer than my regular capris - not as long as leggings so I don't have that length. I'm not sure if you can count on the same size for every item. I also ordered a large one for my daughter and they were crazy and returned asap. I had free returns so didn't want to try different sizes, but waiting is tedious and not being sure what size to order can also be very inconvenient.
