Did the job!: Apparel

I bought this shirt for a hike in the mountains of Vermont where I knew it was going to be a bit chilly. I'm 5ft 3in, 160lbs and would describe myself as of average build. I usually wear a size M for most things but based on the reviews on this shirt I went for a size L which can be too tight. I'm not exactly sure what I look like, so I definitely didn't want something that would tighten my skin or physically restrict my range of motion while hiking. The outside is typical Under Armor material, with a softer, almost fleece-like material lining . the inside is very thin. I was a bit skeptical that this would be enough to keep me warm, but (especially when combined with other items) it did a fantastic job of keeping me warm without breaking out in a complete sweat. Although it is softly lined, it absorbs moisture like normal Under Armor and prevents you from sweating heavily or smelling badly.

Pros
  • Under Armor's mission is to make all athletes better through passion, design and relentless innovation
Cons
  • The list goes on.
