Review on HORZE Dark Brown Stirrup Leathers by Dan Brickley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality but think twice before you order Size 160cm

I found these leathers to be stiffer than I am used to but they are good quality for the price so I usually rate them a 4 or 5 stars. However, I was surprised that the long sizes (160cm) I bought were only 12 inches. They must be at least 18 inches perforated to cover a reasonable range of riders. I'm 6 feet and they are still an inch too long. So I will have to rebuild them. I could have bought a shorter pair but I was trying to get away from "too short". UPDATE: I decided to use these as neck straps and they work great!. I fitted one full (for a 17H cross), secured the free end and beside the buckle with thick rubber bands, and then covered the buckle and hanging strap with masking tape (so I could remove and provide some padding). The other 6 will be shortened for a smaller horse>
