From the seller's description I wasn't sure if it would fit me. I'm encasing my solar panel to make it more waterproof. I use a waterproof plastic electrical box, junction box, 4" x 4" x 2" that I run my individual panels into with 12 AWG wire. And from there with 8 AWG wires to my controller, like They are designed to do this. They feature a rubber compression ring that compresses and holds the cable insulation in place when the nut is tightened, creating a watertight connection and acting as a cable/cable clamp.
