First of all I really liked these hangers because I love the red and gold combo. I found the price a bit high for this type of hangers which are much cheaper at Costco etc. However, I spent a lot of money as I liked the look and wanted to change my cabinet side (Costco only sells black/silver). Gold hooks make a world of difference when swapping out ALL hangers for uniformity. Unfortunately they didn't hold up too well - the hooks came off the hangers (so far this has happened with 4 hangers which I think is a lot for 50 in a pack). Velvet hangers are exactly what you would expect and they prevent clothes from sliding down. However, the bottom ripped several times when I hung my pants on it. I wish they were of better quality.
