Less than 1 inch between pole and wall. TOO SMALL for everything.
Less than 1" between rung and wall. If you are a man with normal or large hands, you CANNOT "put" the towel over the rod to hang it. You can fill a washcloth or a very, very thin towel, but not a decent towel. A picture is worth a thousand words. I have t-shirts that are thicker than the towel they use. Too bad it's a nice pole but needs at least 1/4 inch more depth, 3/8 would be better.
